People of Quiapo

October 11th, 2008 | Category: People, Travel

I’ve been experimenting with my camera for quite some time.  It’s still more of a point and shoot technique, hopefully soon I can apply my new photography learnings.  For now, I’ll just be sharing with you some pictures I took last April.   It was really quite a challenge taking pictures in Quiapo.  Primary fear is getting my bag snatched…worse, getting my precious camera snatched!

Meet the People of Quiapo

You’d see the typical Juan praying fervently.I wonder what other people pray about…

This is actually a blind man. It’s good that he still has a strong faith in God despite being handicapped

off peak

September 28th, 2008 | Category: Travel

Off peak season is almost over. Hotel and Resort rates are soon to go up again. You guys might want to take a quick break and take that short vacation that you badly need. I’m sure you’ll emerge refreshed and reenergized after. Start planning and book your reservations. Don’t forget to get a travel insurance. It’s really better to be ready than sorry. Anyway, I hope I can have that quick vacation as well.

Bag of Beans

July 30th, 2008 | Category: Travel

Before heading back to Manila, I suggested that we pass by Bag of Beans first. I’ve read about it a couple of times before and it’s one of the suggested places to go to when in Tagaytay. It was a great time to check it out myself.

Bag of Beans.
For dine in, you actually go down to the garden at the left side of the shop

Their freshly baked bread with butter and jam goes well with the coffee.

We also had cheesecake.
If I probably didn’t have cheesecake from Uno recently I would have appreciated it more…

All in all, it was a great day! I had fun with my hubby and I get to finish my errands. This is one of the things I like with being a wedding coordinator…I can mix business with pleasure.
