I would just like to share one of my favorite prayers. I remember posting it in my other blog just before I went on a soul searching trip alone in Pagudpud. This prayer has helped go through a lot of things. It’s a nice feeling knowing that despite any hardship that you are going through, you always have God beside you to help you and guide you.

God, take and receive my liberty,
my memory, my understanding and will,
All that I am and have He has given me
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference
Living one day at a time
Enjoying one moment at a time
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace
Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is,
Not as I would have it
Trusting that He will make all things right
If I surrender to his will
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy in the next. AMEN
